Graveheart doesn't feel that he should be leading the Alliance so he attemps to hand the Alliance back to Tekla. Everyone in the Alliance, minus Femur, try to convince him that he is the best one out of all of them to lead them to the war against Remora the next day, but they can't and Graveheart steps down. After hearing of what Graveheart did, Jade goes to talk some sence into her best friend. She knows why Graveheat is afraid of authority, because several years prior to the Beast threat, Graveheart promised a younger Qurrior that he wouldn't get hurt during a raid on Planet Fire. Despite Graveheart's efforts, Mica (that's the kids name) falls into a lava flow during a fight. Graveheart feels very responsible for it because it was his brother. Jade makes him see that he is a leader of men with a warriors heart and is the only one to lead the Alliance into battle. He finally agrees.
