Enzo Matrix is a hyperactive data sprite, that would give anything that he could access to be exactly like Bob. His older sister, Dot, wants him to be as responsible and careful as she is, but, since he wants to be like Bob, he'd rather be on the spot action and no planing ahead.

Enzo is always following Bob into games, trying to learn from the best and also just for the excuse of going into games. He also always gets into trouble because of it, and Bob always has to bail him out of tough situations.

Enzo was the only young Sprite in Mainframe and was often very lonely. He didn't have anyone to play with, and his dog Frisket wasen't really his. Frisket was a wild dog. His only relief of this was to go into games. One second he entered a game, Lost Treasure of Atlantis, he met a young Game Sprite, AndrAIa. He didn't realize until the User was almost finished the game that she was a game sprite, but AndrAIa, being an Artificial Inteligence Sprite, downloaded a backup of herself onto Enzo's icon and helped him win the game. When Enzo exited the game, Bob saw AndrAIa's icon and clicked on it and she appeared and became Enzo's playmate.

When the Web invaded Mainframe, Bob made Enzo a Guardian "First Level" (field commission). After Bob was shot into the Web, Enzo was a young Guardian without any experience or knowhow, but he learned very quickly.

In a few seconds, he was learning a lot about the games and using his brain to adapt to new situations, until he lost a game and lost his right eye because of the User. Instead of being nullified, he, AndrAIa and Frisket changed their icons to Game Sprite Mode and left with the game.

From game to game, system to system, full grown Enzo (who wants to be called Matirx), AndrAIa, and Frisket traveled, looking for Mainframe and Bob. They helped mend systems and teach it's citizens how to beat the User at the games. Since loosing to the User, Matrix became very bitter towards everyone and everything, except AndrAIa, who he'd fallen in love with.

Finally, they found a system with ports to the Net, met up with Turbo "Prime Guardian" and found out that there was a super virus Daemon infecting all of the Guardians, but there were only two Guardians who haden't been infected, Enzo and Bob.

Having to find Bob to save the entire Net, Matrix, AndrAIa and Frisket joined up with Captian Capacitor and crew of the the Saucy Mare to enter the web. With the help from a web surfer, Ray Tracer, they found Bob and returned to Mainframe.

After re-uniting with Dot and Mouse, Matrix finally settled the score with Megabyte.
